Super teacher: I like to have center stage--but I know I'm also part of a team. I am here with Danielle Adams who is Emma's special education teacher.

Danielle: It's easy to talk about cooperation and collaboration. It's much harder to actually do it.

Super teacher: But, we both really care about our students and set high expectations for their learning.

Danielle: We know our students are capable. They may just need extra support.

Super teacher: So, when we work together and share our unique knowledge and perspectives, we take steps towards raising expectations for our students.

Danielle: It took awhile--we both like center stage--but we've discovered that our students are most successful when we share responsibility for their learning.
