Summary
Accommodation
Twenty-six regular education teachers were interviewed about their perceptions of modifications for students with mild handicaps. Results indicated that teachers made more typical modifications (format of directions, test administration procedures, etc.) than substantial modifications (altering difficulty) for these students. A negative relationship was found between teaching experience, teacher age, and class size and the number of modifications reported.
