Summary

Accommodation

This study examined faculty perspectives on the ease of implementation and use of a variety of instructional accommodations.

Participants

Surveys were sent to 485 faculty members at the University of Massachusetts (U.S.); 162 completed surveys were returned.

Dependent Variable

Surveys inquired about faculty members' views of using instructional accommodations, and support they received from administration for implementing accommodations.

Findings

Results indicated that beliefs about the helpfulness of and need for instructional accommodations were associated with the provision of accommodations.
